Taster Sessions

Children are welcome at taster sessions in the term before their second birthday, accompanied by their parent(s) or carers. They are held on Wednesday mornings between 9.30am – 11.30am at a cost of £3.  They allow children to get used to the Pre-School routine before they start and give parents an idea of what goes on. Please contact us for more information.  Alternative times can be arranged if a Wednesday is not convenient.

Registration

It is a legal requirement that children are registered with us before they can attend the Pre-School. Basically this just involves filling in a short booking in form, and signing your name! Once your child is registered you are free to bring them to taster sessions or start full sessions.

Waiting List

You can put your child's name down for the Pre-School whenever you want to, we don't currently have a waiting list, but we do have some sessions that are full.

Fees

Fees can be paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer, childcare vouchers, tax free childcare or funded hours.

Funding

We accept funded hours, these are currently as follows;

All children are entitled to 15 funded hours weekly from the start of the term after their third birthday.

Some 3- and 4-year olds are entitled to 30 funded hours weekly from the start of the term after their application is successful.

Some 2-year olds are entitled to 15 funded hours weekly the term after their second birthday.

Our morning session is 3 hours long, our lunch time is half an hour, and our afternoon session is 2 1/2 hours long. So, the free 15 hours can be taken as five mornings, five lunch times and afternoons, two full days and one morning and so on!
